TUL Corporation ha annunciato la video card non reference siglata PCS HD5750 Premium Edition. Si tratta di una Radeon, commercializzata con il brand di PowerColor, che è basata sulla gpu ATI HD 5750 di AMD ed è equipaggiata con un cooler attivo prodotto da ZEROtherm. Questo dissipatore, utilizzando una heatpipe da 6mm e una fitta struttura lamellare a geometria radiale, entrambe realizzate in rame, riesce ad assicurare tutta l'efficienza necessaria per lo smaltimento del calore, pur vantando una ventola che ruota a soli 2500RPM e che produce un livello di rumore pari a circa 30dB.
Le frequenze operative del core grafico e della RAM (1GB di G-DDR5) e l'ampiezza del bus che li collega sono tuttavia pienamente allineati ai valori reference, essendo pari rispettivamente a 700MHzMHz, 1150MHz e 128-bit. La dotazione di porte di I/O è completa, dal momento che include una dual DVI, una HDMI e una Display Port, al punto tale da rendere questa scheda, anche in considerazione della silenziosità che può vantare, l'ideale completamento degli HTPC.
La PowerColor PCS HD5750 Premium sarà commercializzata a partire dal 30 Ottobre; il suo MSRP è pari a $139.
