TUL Corporation ha reso noto di aver ampliato la propria gamma di schede grafiche ad alte prestazioni siglata PCS+ con una nuova variante della Radeon HD5700, la PCS+ HD5770. La nuova card è un esemplare "overclocked by factory", dal momento che esibisce i valori di 875MHz e 1225MHz per le frequenze di clock della gpu e della memoria locale (1GB di G-DDR5) mentre i corrispondenti valori reference sono pari rispettivamente a 850MHz e 1200MHz. L'ampiezza del bus di collegamento tra il core grafico e la memoria locale è a 128-bit mentre il valore massimo del bit rate delle G-DDR5 è pari a 4.9Gbps.

La PCS+ HD5770 è equipaggiata con un cooler attivo la cui ventola è altamente silenziosa mentre il blocco applicato alla gpu è in rame: ne consegue una elevata efficienza in fase di dissipazione del calore (in accordo al maker il sistema di raffreddamento riduce di 10°C la temperatura rispetto a quello reference nelle medesime condizioni operative, ndr) e, nello stesso tempo, una rumorosità contenuta.

Come spesso accade per le video card di questa categoria, la dotazione di connettori di uscita include due porte DVI-D, una HDMI e una Display Port. La PCS+ HD5770 sarà commercializzata a partire dal prossimo 18 Dicembre; il suo bundle conterrà il game DirectX 11 DiRT2 in versione completa.
