Con il comunicato stampa di seguito allegato, G.Skill ha annunciato delle memorie RAM DDR3 ad alte prestazioni nell'ambito della nuova linea Flare.

Si tratta di DIMM caratterizzate da una frequenza operativa consigliata pari a 1800MHz in corrispondenza di un profilo di timing variabile in base al modello e con polarizzazione di 1.65V.

In accordo al produttore, le nuove DDR3 sono ottimizzate per le piattaforme AM3 790 e per le prossime 890 equipaggiate con le cpu AMD con step C3 o successivo, come quelle a sei core della serie Phenom II X6.

Al momento la linea Flare include quattro kit da 4GB (2GBx2), che si differenziano in base al profilo di timing, come di seguito elencato.

• CL8-8-8-24 1.65V
• CL9-9-9-27 1.65V
