I nuovi moduli di RAM, che lavorano in accordo alle specifiche dello standard JEDEC in termini di frequenze di clock e timing, e offrono buoni margini per l'overclock, sono disponibili in kit per il dual-channel da 4GB o 2GB, oltreché in configurazione singola; si differenziano in base alla frequenza di clock, che varia da 1600MHz a 800MHz, al profilo dei timing e alla tensione di polarizzazione.
