LaCie ha rilasciato un aggiornamento a NAS OS 2 dedicato alla sua linea di dispositivi NAS - Network Attached Storage. L'aggiornamento comprende opzioni di backup potenziate e funzioni per un facile accesso da remoto per i prodotti LaCie Network 2. BACKUP DA NAS-A-NAS
Il supporto dei backup da NAS-a-NAS permette a LaCie NAS di eseguire il backup di un altro NAS compatibile. Il backup del LaCie NAS può essere eseguito anche da un altro NAS sia sulla stessa rete sia su Internet. Questa funzione è particolarmente utile per creare un backup che risiede altrove e che garantisce la protezione dei dati contro furti, incendi, alluvioni e altri disastri naturali. Opzioni avanzate permettono all'utente di crittografare o di comprimere i dati e di eseguire backup incrementali per risparmiare spazio.
FACILE ACCESSO DA REMOTO CON LACIE MYNAS
Con LaCie MyNAS, l'utente può configurare l'accesso da remoto al proprio NAS grazie a una procedura che richiede solo 30 secondi. Basta creare un nome esclusivo per lo storage di rete nella Dashboard del NAS e accedere da ovunque ci si trovi tramite un semplice indirizzo web, facile da ricordare: mynas.lacie.com/nome. NAS-TO-NAS BACKUP
Support for NAS-to-NAS backup lets the LaCie NAS back up another compatible NAS. The LaCie NAS can even be backed up by another NAS, whether it's on the same network or via the Internet. This feature is especially helpful to create an offsite backup for data protection against theft, fires, floods and other natural disasters. Advanced options let the user encrypt or compress data as well as perform incremental backups to save space.
LACIE MYNAS EASY REMOTE ACCESS
With LaCie MyNAS the user can now easily access their NAS remotely, a process that takes only 30 seconds to set up. Just create a unique name for the network storage in the NAS dashboard, then access the device on the road with a simple, easy-to-remember web address: mynas.lacie.com/name.
