TUL ha annunciato oggi la video card PowerColor Devil R9 270X (part number: AXR9 270X 2GBD5-A2DHE), una variante particolarmente spinta della scheda video Radeon R9 270X di AMD che va ad ampliare la linea Devil, tipicamente indirizzata ai gamer.

In accordo al comunicato stampa del produttore, la card PowerColor Devil R9 270X consente di giocare in modalita di visualizzazione 4K e supporta, come tipicamente accade per i prodotti basati sulle recenti gpu di AMD, le librerie grafiche DirectX 11.2, oltre alle nuove API Mantle proposte dalla stessa AMD.

La PowerColor Devil R9 270X è una soluzione factory-overclocked, in cui il core grafico della gpu lavora a 1150MHz in termini di frequenza di clock di base, e fino a un massimo di 1180MHz (frequenza di boost), mentre il frame buffer, implementato con 2GB di RAM G-DDR5, ha una frequenza di clock fisica pari a 1400MHz e una velocità effettiva pari a 5.6Gbps. Il processore grafico e il frame buffer sono interfacciati da un bus a 256-bit.

Due feature nettamente non reference sono rappresentate, da un lato, dallo stadio di alimentazione, realizzato in accordo alla tecnologia proprietaria Platinum Power Kit e basato su un PWM digitale a 7 + 1 + 1 fasi e su dispositivi di stabilizzazione DirectFET, e, dall'altro, dal cooler, che include tre ventole e un'ampia struttura lamellare in alluminio, alimentata da quattro heat pipe.

Il kit di connettori di uscita della video card PowerColor Devil R9 270X di TUL è composto da una porta dual-link DVI-I, una single-link DVI-D, una HDMI e due mini-DP.
