ViewSonic ha ampliato la propria offerta di monitor LCD con pannello multi-touch a 10 punti annunciando la device siglata TD2240, una soluzione, caratterizzata da una dimensione pari a 22-inch, dedicata al mercato consumer e ottimizzata per i Sistemi Operativi Windows 8 e Windows 8.1 di Microsoft.
Il monitor touchscreen TD2240 di ViewSonic è basato su un pannello ad allineamento verticale (VA – Vertical Alignment), illuminato con la tecnologia LED-backlight; esibisce inoltre una risoluzione video nativa pari a 1920 x 1080 pixel (Full HD).
Tra le altre specifiche della device di output citiamo il rapporto di contrasto pari a 3000:1, la luminosità pari a 200cd/m2 e il tempo di risposta pari a 25ms, mentre gli angoli di visualizzazione verticale e orizzontale sono uguali tra loro e pari a 178°.
Il monitor TD2240 di ViewSonic include inoltre due altoparlanti stereo integrati, con potenza RMS pari a 2W, un hub con 5 connettori USB 3.0 e un set di porte di ingresso composto da una D-Sub, una HDMI e una DisplayPort.
Il produttore rende noto che il monitor TD2240 è già reperibile sul mercato statunitense con un prezzo (medio) per l'utente finale pari a $449.
