Palit Microsystems ha annunciato la video card non reference denominata GeForce GTX 750 StormX 2GB, una soluzione che abbina alla prima gpu di NVIDIA basata sull'architettura di nuova generazione Maxwell un design personalizzato dal board maker, che include un frame buffer (2GB di G-DDR5) la cui dimensione è pari al doppio rispetto a quella prevista dalla specifica reference, e l'equipaggiamento con condensatori a stato solido e con il cooler TurboFan Blade.

Il core grafico della gpu della GeForce GTX 750 StormX 2GB è caratterizzato da una frequenza di clock di base pari a 1020MHz e da una frequenza massima di boost pari a 1085MHz; il frame buffer, invece, lavora a 2505MHz (o a 5010MHz in termini di velocità effettiva).

In accordo a Palit, la GeForce GTX 750 StormX 2GB può vantare un ottimo rapporto in termini di prestazioni su prezzo, ed è in grado di eseguire a 1080p tutti i game attualmente sul mercato. Inoltre, rispetto alle card equivalenti della generazione precedente, assicura un boost prestazionale pari a circa il 25%, pur essendo due volte più efficiente dal punto di vista energetico.
