The next beta version of Central Brain Identifier BE has been released. Comparing to the previous third beta version a lot of significant improvements have been added. Now CBId features a new Mobility tab available for both new Family 10h and previous generations of AMD64 processors. Although, this tab is not finished yet, it provide rather full information as to thermal power specification for the maximum and minimum P-states of the processor, current values of FID, VID and DID. It is also possible to determine the current Halt and Stop Grant state clock divisors! The Northbridge tab now reports information about HyperTransport bus specific for the Family 10h processors. New CBId BE is capable of measuring a current value of thermal power of any AMD64 processor older than NPT Family. This feature is available when the Cool’n Quiet BIOS option is enabled. The most significant improvement is a new high precision clock frequency measurement routine. It is based on independent system timer and is used for any AMD64 processor on Windows x64 Edition only or if the Family 10h processor has been detected. The routine measures a real clock frequency of the Family 10h processor, not an invariant frequency as other system tools! Also, BGA parts of AMD Sempron processors of NPT Family have been supported! Next time CBId BE will be capable of identifying the latest single and dual core Family 10h processors, such as Athlon and Sempron processors. Phenom FX will be supported as well. Keep using CBId! Don’t use old bad-looking third-party software! CBId BE is the most perspective project cause it is sponsored by AMD itself!
