TUL Corporation ha ampliato la propria gamma di schede grafiche Radeon Go! Green con la HD5750, una soluzione di fascia media
che, come si evince dalla denominazione commerciale scelta dal maker, è basata sulla gpu ATI Radeon HD5750 di AMD e può vantare, in
quanto parte della famiglia Go! Green di PowerColor, un consumo di potenza ridotto rispetto a quello esibito dal modello reference
equipaggiato con il medesimo core grafico.
In accordo al produttore la minore potenza dissipata dall'hardware, e dunque la maggiore attenzione verso l'aspetto ecologico, nell'interesse
della collettività piuttosto che del singolo proprietario, non sono ottenute a discapito delle performance, incluse quelle in ambito gaming,
che risultano essere sostanzialmente confontabili, se non allineate, a quelle di una HD5750 pienamente aderente al design reference, firmata
PowerColor e non.
Tuttavia la PowerColor Go! Green HD5750, consumando meno, ha permesso agli ingegneri l'adozione di un cooler completamente passivo, da cui
deriva la non trascurabile dote di massima silenziosità e, in ultima analisi, una innata propensione per l'equipaggiamento dei computer da
salotto, o HTPC, high-end, con i quali si punta non soltanto al gaming con dettaglio grafico importante ma anche all'High Definition mediante
il playback in HD dei film su Blu-ray.
