Con il comunicato stampa di seguito allegato, Corsair ha annunciato il lancio del solid-state drive (SSD) da 256GB e ad alte prestazioni siglato P256. In accordo al produttore, questa soluzione rappresenta l'attuale punto di arrivo della tecnologia del settore: facendo uso di memorie MLC flash e di un controller, entrambi "made by Samsumg", oltreché di 128MB di cache "super-veloce", il nuovo drive a stato solido è in grado di vantare, a fronte della elevata capacità di memorizzazione, una velocità di lettura che può raggiungere i 220MB/sec e una velocità di scrittura che può raggiungere i 200MB/sec.

P256 è già sul mercato: Corsair, tuttavia, non ne ha ufficializzato l'MSRP.
