Con il comunicato stampa di seguito allegato, EVGA ha annunciato due prodotti di fascia alta compatibili con la tecnologia multi-gpu 4-Way SLI, e dunque in grado di permettere la configurazione di quattro gpu NVIDIA operanti in SLI. Si tratta della motherboard EVGA X58 SLI Classified 4-Way SLI e della video card EVGA GTX 285 Classified che, insieme, consentono l'implementazione della prima piattaforma al mondo dotata di quattro processori grafici (o quattro schede grafiche a gpu singola) basati sulla tecnologia NVIDIA.

Tra le feature della EVGA X58 SLI Classified 4-Way SLI (MSRP pari a $449.99), che è basata sul chipset Intel X58 Express con il chip ICH10R nel ruolo di southbridge, segnaliamo la dotazione di 7 slot PCI-Express x16/x8, capaci di gestire tutte le configurazioni NVIDIA SLI (2-Way, 3-Way, 4-Way SLI) e le configurazioni ATI CrossFireX ad oggi disponibili, e la dotazione in maniera esclusiva di condensatori a stato solido.

La GeForce GTX 285 Classified (MSRP pari a $379.99) è configurata con le frequenze di default previste da NVIDIA per le GTX 285 reference; a fare la differenza sono i tre connettori a 6-pin per l'alimentazione PCI-E, la presenza di nodi da cui è possibile rilevare agevolmente le tensioni a cui operano i principali componenti e l'elevata propensione all'overclock, supportata da un PWM a 8 fasi e da un cooler dual-slot ad elevata efficienza.
