La taiwanense GeIL (Golden Emperor International Ltd) ha annunciato i nuovi kit di memoria RAM di tipo DDR3 siglati DDR3 Gaming Series Black Dragon Triple Channel ed indirizzati all'equipaggiamento dei sistemi Nehalem di Intel, basati sul chipset X58 Express e su una cpu di classe Core i7, che sappiamo essere in grado di gestire le DIMM di DDR3 in configurazione a canale triplo.

La nuova linea include diverse varianti in base alla frequenza operativa (1066MHz, 1333MHz, 1600MHz, 1800MHz, 2000MHz e 2133MHz) e alla capacità di memorizzazione (3GB ottenuta come 3x1GB e 6GB ottenuta come 2GBx3): tutti i prodotti della linea sono accomunati dalla dotazione di un PCB a 8 layer munito di doppio LED e sono testati accuratamente con l'ausilio della tecnologia proprietaria Die-hard Burn-in.
