Con il comunicato stampa di seguito allegato, TUL Corporation ha annunciato la video card PowerColor HD6850 Single Slot Edition (cfr. le foto seguenti).

In accordo alla denominazione del prodotto, si tratta della prima Radeon HD 6850 sul mercato capace di vantare un design di tipo single-slot che, in quanto tale, riduce da un lato l'occupazione dello spazio richiesto per l'installazione e, dall'altro, permette la realizzazione di configurazioni di tipo 4 way CrossFireX, basate su quattro PowerColor HD6850 interconnesse.

La gpu della card lavora a 775MHz mentre la memoria RAM (1GB di G-DDR5) a 1000MHz (o 4.0Gbps in valore effettivo); l'ampiezza del bus che collega il core grafico alla memoria locale è a 256-bit, mentre il kit di porte di uscita include una DVI-I, una HDMI e due mini DisplayPort.

Il cooler della scheda è dotato di tre heat pipe da 8mm, connesse a una struttura irradiante con basamento in rame e dimensionata per ricoprire il PCB nella sua interezza.
