Con il comunicato stampa di seguito allegato, l'austriaca Noctua ha annunciato una edizione speciale del suo ben noto cooler NH-D14, denominata NH-D14 SE2011 e progettata per lavorare in abbinamento ai prossimi processori "Sandy Bridge-E" di Intel (linea Core i7-3000), che sappiamo essere caratterizzati dal nuovo socket LGA-2011.

Il nuovo dissipatore di Noctua, oltre ad introdurre la compatibilità con le nuove piattaforme basate sul chipset Intel X79, conferma i punti di forza di ogni NH-D14, ed in particolare vanta il sistema di montaggio SecuFirm2. Inoltre, esso utilizza una doppia ventola (NF-P12 o NF-P14) di tipo PWM con controllo automatico della velocità di rotazione.

Noctua ha ufficializzato un MSRP pari a €74.90 per il suo nuovo cooler NH-D14 SE2011, la cui disponibilità commerciale si concretizzerà "presto".
