SANTA CLARA, CA—JANUARY 11, 2006—NVIDIA Corporation (Nasdaq: NVDA), the worldwide leader in programmable graphics processor technologies, today announced that the Company's family of award-winning NVIDIA nForce4 media and communications processors (MCPs) for AMD64 platforms support the new AMD Athlon 64 FX-60 dual-core processor announced yesterday. The potent combination of NVIDIA nForce core-logic solutions with the AMD Athlon 64 FX-60 dual-core processor-based systems solidifies the PC as an ultimate gaming platform, due in part to the focus on performance that both NVIDIA and AMD are committed to delivering to the PC enthusiast community.
