SANTA CLARA, CA—JANUARY 11, 2006—NVIDIA Corporation (Nasdaq: NVDA), the worldwide leader in programmable graphics processor technologies, today announced that the Company's family of award-winning NVIDIA nForce4 media and communications processors (MCPs) for AMD64 platforms support the new AMD Athlon 64 FX-60 dual-core processor announced yesterday.

The potent combination of NVIDIA nForce core-logic solutions with the AMD Athlon 64 FX-60 dual-core processor-based systems solidifies the PC as an ultimate gaming platform, due in part to the focus on performance that both NVIDIA and AMD are committed to delivering to the PC enthusiast community. The dual-core capabilities of the new AMD Athlon 64 FX-60 processor combined with the advanced architecture of the NVIDIA nForce4 MCPs and support for the acclaimed NVIDIA SLI multi-GPU technology provide the technological foundation for driving today's hottest games and demanding digital media applications, including the playback of high-definition video.

Along with advanced security and storage capabilities, including support for RAID 5 and next-generation SATA 3G/sec. hard drives, NVIDIA nForce4 MCP-based platforms have received hundreds of awards by industry-leading publications catering to the PC enthusiast communities.
