ASUS ha annunciato la motherboard in edizione limitata TUF Sabertooth Z97 Mark S, una soluzione high-end che implementa il form factor ATX ed è basata sul chipset Z97 Express di Intel ed è compatibile con i processori socket LGA-1150 appartenenti alle linee commerciali Intel Core i3, i5 e i7 di quarta e quinta generazione, e Intel Pentium e Celeron.

La TUF Sabertooth Z97 Mark S, come tipicamente accade per i prodotti TUF di ASUS, è in grado di esibire una vera e propria armatura di colore bianco (Thermal Armor) che migliora la circolazione dell'aria e quindi il raffreddamento dei componenti posizionati sul PCB.

Ma non soltanto: questa scheda madre include anche un chip (TUF ICe), che monitora e controlla le temperature e le velocità delle ventole, e la tecnologia Thermal Radar 2, con cui l'utente può massimizzare le performance delle ventole, quando è necessario.

La TUF Sabertooth Z97 Mark S di ASUS può vantare la dotazione di uno stadio di alimentazione digitale a 8 + 2 fasi ed è equipaggiata con 4 DIMM che sono in grado di gestire fino a 32GB di RAM DDR3 a 1866MHz e supportano la tecnologia Intel Extreme Memory Profile (XMP).

La TUF Sabertooth Z97 Mark S di ASUS supporta le tecnologie grafiche multi-gpu NVIDIA Quad-SLI e CrossFireX a 4 vie: più in dettaglio, essa include due slot PCI Express 3.0 x16 (che lavorano a 8x se entrambi sono utilizzati, o a 16x in caso contrario), uno slot PCI Express 2.0 x16, che lavora fino a 4x, e tre slot PCI Express 2.0 x1.

Sono infine 8 le porte USB 3.0/USB 2.0 e altrettante quelle USB 2.0/USB 1.1 mentre la connettività di rete wireline viene realizzata con i controller LAN Gigabit denominati Intel I218-V e Realtek 8111GR.

The latest ASUS masterpiece features multiple renowned TUF features.
