Con il comunicato stampa di seguito allegato, GECUBE ha annunciato la disponibilità della scheda grafica di fascia alta HV1950XT X Series PCI-Express 16x. Il nuovo prodotto dell'azienda taiwanense, che segue di pochi giorni l'arrivo sul mercato della sua variante per bus AGP 8x, è basato sulla gpu ATI Radeon R580+, che è realizzata in tecnologia a 90nm e presenta una frequenza di clock del core pari a 628MHz.

L'architettura del processore grafico implementa 48 unità di Pixel Shader ed un'ampiezza di banda tra gpu e memoria locale pari a 256-bit; offre il pieno supporto delle applicazioni e dei game che utilizzano le API Microsoft DirectX 9 e Shader Model 3.0 per l'eleborazione grafica.

La Radeon HV1950XT X Series è equipaggiata con 512Mb di memoria RAM di tipo G-DDR3 ed è compatibile con HDCP e HDMI; inoltre vanta una bassa rumorosità in virtù della dotazione del sistema di cooling proprietario Extreme Silent.

Si interfaccia con il mondo esterno mediante una connettività DVI a dual-link e con una uscita TV OUT (HDTV).
