Con il comunicato stampa di seguito allegato, NEC Display Solutions of America ha annunciato l'imminente lancio commerciale del monitor a schermo curvo da 43-inch siglato CRV-43. La nuova soluzione di NEC è un display ultra-widescreen basato sulla tecnologia LED backlight, caratterizzato da una risoluzione ottimale pari a 2880x900 e idoneo per l'impiego negli ambiti più disparati.

Tra le specifiche ufficiali pubblicate da NEC segnaliamo il rapporto di contrasto pari a 10.000:1, la luminosità pari a 200 cd/m² e una capacità cromatica di alto profilo, in grado di coprire il 99.3% dei colori dello spettro di Adobe RGB e il 100% dello spettro RGB. CRV-43 ha due ingressi, uno DVI-D e uno HDMI 1.3.

La nuova device sarà sul mercato a partire dal prossimo mese di Luglio: il suo ESP (Estimated Street Price ) è pari a $7.999.

CHICAGO - June 4, 2009 - NEC Display Solutions of America, a leading provider of commercial LCD displays and projectors, today announced the 43" NEC CRV43 ultra-widescreen specialty desktop display, designed for use in applications such as professional graphics, higher education, government, financial, command & control and home office.

The NEC CRV43 curved display can be seen at InfoComm 09 on June 17-19 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.

The unique NEC CRV43 curved display provides a much wider field of view and greater dynamic range with its double WGXA resolution (32:10 aspect ratio). The user's taskbar is extended natively and setup is made easy to configure with one input. These features make it an ideal solution for simulation, digital imaging and command & control.
