Arriverà negli store USA a Ottobre ed avrà un prezzo suggerito dal produttore di $1000 il nuovo player di fascia alta Elite BDP-95FD (cfr. foto seguente) che Pioneer ha lanciato in queste ore mediante il comunicato stampa allegato di seguito.

In accordo alle dichiarazioni del costruttore, si tratta di un dispositivo molto sofisticato, successore del modello BDP-94HD, forte della capacità di video playback a 1080p, con un frame rate di 24fps.

Altra feature innovativa per la gamma di player Blu-ray Pioneer è l'uscita HDMI 1.3, da cui discende il supporto per tutti i formati audio High Definition: Dolby Digital Plus, TrueHD, DTS-HD High Resolution e Master Audio.

Inoltre, può condividere il contenuto dei media nelle reti in tecnologia Ethernet che includono host e/o periferiche con supporto per la Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA).

This home networking feature provides users a rich, high definition graphical interface with fast navigation to search, select and play desired content. Home Media Gallery offers IP networking for quick access and downloading of new digital media files straight from the computer for immediate viewing through the BDP-95FD on a connected flat screen television. The Pioneer Elite Blu-ray Disc player is compliant with Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) sources, as well as Microsoft Windows XP, Vista, and Media Center editions, as well as 3rd party DLNA server software available for both Mac and Linux based computers.

The BDP-95FD arrives at specialty retailers in October for a suggested price of $1000.
