Kingston Technology ha lanciato due nuovi kit di RAM DDR3 XMP Ready della linea HyperX caratterizzati da una amplissima capienza per la memorizzazione dei dati. Le nuove soluzioni sono siglate KHX1600C9D3K6/24GX e KHX1600C9D3K4/16GX.
In accordo alla denominazione del produttore, il kit KHX1600C9D3K6/24GX offre una capacità di 24GB, include sei moduli da 4GB cadauno, è dedicato alla gestione del triple-channel in presenza dei processori Core i7 con socket LGA-1366 su chipset X58 Express di Intel ed è in grado di vantare una frequenza operativa pari a 1600Mhz, con un profilo dei timing pari a CL9-9-9-27 @ 1.65V.
Il kit KHX1600C9D3K4/16GX - in questo caso la capacità è pari a 16GB (4x4GB) - è invece orientato alle piattaforme basate su un processore di classe Core i5 o Core i7 con socket LGA-1156 e chipset P55 di Intel; supporta il dual-channel a 1600MHz con un profilo dei timing pari a CL9-9-9-27 @ 1.65V.
L'MSRP del kit KHX1600C9D3K6/24GX è pari a $1.598 mentre quello del kit KHX1600C9D3K4/16GX è di $1.065. Il maker li ha commercializzati sul mercato statunitense.
