Da ECS i controller USB 3.0 U3N2 e SATA III S6M2 per bus PCI-E

Con il comunicato stampa di seguito allegato, Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS) ha annunciato le card di add-on, collegabili ad uno slot di tipo PCI-Express x1 2.0, siglate U3N2 e S6M2 (le card sono naturalmente compatibili anche con PCI-Express x4, x8 e x16) e finalizzate all'ampliamento delle porte del sistema con l'aggiunta del supporto delle device di tipo USB 3.0 e SATA III (o SATA 6Gbps) rispettivamente.

La ECS U3N2 è basata sull'ormai classico controller USB 3.0 di NEC e offre due connettori USB 3.0, retrocompatibili con le device di tipo USB 2.0, USB 1.1 e USB 1.0. Il driver della ECS U3N2 supporta i Sistemi Operativi Windows 7, Vista e XP.

La card SATA III ECS S6M2 è realizzata con l'ausilio del controller SATA 6Gbps di Marvell e rende disponibile una porta SATA 6Gbps e una eSATA 6Gbps. E' utilizzabile in ambiente Microsoft Windows 7, Vista e XP.
