Periodo di lancio e primo trailer di Batman: Arkham City

Con il comunicato stampa di seguito allegato, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment e DC Entertainment, in qualità di publisher, hanno annunciato che il titolo Batman: Arkham City sarà disponibile in triplice edizione, per il supporto delle console Xbox 360 e PlayStation 3, e della piattaforma PC, nel corso dell'autunno del 2011.

Batman: Arkham City, che è attualmente in fase di sviluppo presso gli studi di Rocksteady Studios, al suo arrivo sul mercato seguirà il ben noto Batman: Arkham Asylum, di cui riprende in maniera evidente molti aspetti dell'ambientazione, come si evince dal seguente trailer di lancio.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment today announced Batman: Arkham City as the title for its follow-up to the award-winning, critically acclaimed hit videogame Batman: Arkham Asylum. Batman: Arkham City will be available for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, Games for Windows PC and the PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system in Autumn 2011.

Developed by Rocksteady Studios, Batman: Arkham City builds upon the intense, atmospheric foundation of Batman: Arkham Asylum, sending players soaring into Arkham City, the new maximum security “home” for all of Gotham City’s thugs, gangsters and insane criminal masterminds. Set inside the heavily fortified walls of a sprawling district in the heart of Gotham City, this highly anticipated sequel introduces a brand-new story that draws together a new all-star cast of classic characters and murderous villains from the Batman universe, as well as a vast range of new and enhanced gameplay features to deliver the ultimate experience as the Dark Knight.
