Taipei, Taiwan – August 16, 2010 - SPARKLE Computer Co., Ltd., the professional VGA card manufacturer and supplier, today proudly announced the Calibre X480 graphics card , equipped with the Accelero Xtreme Cooling Solution from Arctic Cooling, providing the world's fastest DX11 performance to gamers unbeatable cooling effects.

The Next Generation Gaming Architecture
The Calibre X480 Graphics Card brings a host of the next generation of gaming architecture - GF100--including tessellation, Direct Compute and all other DirectX 11 hardware features. GF100 architecture is specifically designed to support next generation gaming effects such as ray tracing, order-independent transparency, and fluid simulations. By using GF100 architecture, the Calibre X480 Graphics Card gets a tremendous boost in DX11 game performance and image quality, and brings film-like game characters and objects to users. GF100 architecture also enhances PhysX simulations with tremendous speed upgrade. In addition, GPU computing now can be put in practice in latest DX11 games for improve DX11 gaming efficiency.

Cooling Better with Arctic Cooling Solution
The Calibre X480 Graphics Card is equipped with the Accelero Xtreme cooling solution from Arctic Cooling, which delivers ultimate cooling weapon for hardcore gamers. The Arctic Cooling Accelero Xtreme features 5 heatpipes, 107 fins and 3 silent low speed cooling fans. The radical optimized air flow design is targeting to cool effectively up to 250 Watt heat dissipation. The Arctic Cooling can dramatically cool the temperature of the GTX 480 GPU at least 10 ºC lower than the stock cooler. Together with the integrated memory and voltage regulator cooling, the Arctic Cooling not only enhances the over clocking potential but also extends the card's service life. Three PWM cooling fan from Arctic Cooking Solution bring maximum air flow but operate extremely silence, thanks to the low noise impellor design and the patented fan holder which eliminates the humming noise. The unnoticeable operation of Accelero Xtreme brings you the unparallel non-disturbed gaming experience ever before.

Fuse Function Improves The Stability
SPARKLE specially design the Fuse Function for the Calibre X480 Graphics Card. The Fuse Unit on the Graphics Card's PCB can avoid the hardware damage caused by the instable voltage of the monitor.

1536MB GDDR5 Video Memory
Near future‘s DX11 games and 3D applications, such as Lost Planet2, Mafia II and 3DMark 11, they insanely use as large as possible number of bump texture, transparent texture to describe faces of characters and render realistic gaming scenes, so they put rigorous demands on the bandwidth and capacities of video memory and demand at least 1GB video memory. The Calibre X480 Graphics Card comes with incredible large 1536MB high speed GDDR5 video memory, making them to be first batch of DX11 single chip graphics cards in the world with video memory capacity larger than 1GB.

Ray Tracing Brings the Future Of Gaming
The Calibre X480 Graphics Card is one of the world's first consumer graphic cards to enable interactive ray tracing for ultra photo-realistic scenes. The Calibre X480 Graphics Card powers interactive ray tracing, bringing spectacular, photo-realistic renderings to your screen for the first time. By using the power of the GF100 GPUs, the Calibre X480 Graphics Card supports recursion in hardware, enabling efficient ray tracing and a host of other graphics algorithms. It excels not just at standard ray tracing, but also at advanced global illumination algorithms such as path tracing.

Highest Tessellation Power Brings Incredibly Detailed Visuals
While tessellation has mostly been used in films. With the introduction of DirectX 11 and NVIDIA’s GF100, developers will be able to harness these powerful techniques for gaming applications. The Calibre X480 Graphics Card was designed from the ground up to deliver the industry's most potent tessellation performance, which is the key component of Microsoft's DirectX 11 development platform for PC games. Tessellation allows game developers to take advantage of the GeForce GTX 480 GPU's ability to increase the geometric complexity of models and characters to enables incredibly detailed game characters and terrain with blazing performance in latest DX11 titles, such as Dirt 2, Stalker :OCP, Alien VS. Predator, Metro 2033 and so on.

Driving DX11 Performance to the Max With OC Feature
Thanks to the Accelero Xtreme cooling solution, the Calibre X480 Graphics Card enables extreme over clocking. This offers opportunities for enthusiasts and anyone intent on more hardcore applications to tap their full, powerful potential. Compared to reference GeForce GTX 480 graphics cards on market, the the Calibre X480 Graphics Card is over clocked out of box, it boosts the core, processor and memory clocks significantly to 752MHz, 1504MHz and 3800MHz, providing up to 6.2 percent faster overall performance compare to reference, bring incredible performance in the latest DX11 games including Dirt 2, Stalker :OCP, Alien VS. Predator, Metro 2033 and so on.

Calibre 3-Years International Warranty
SPARKLE Computer Co., Ltd, is continuously improving product and service quality. High quality components are used for the Calibre X480 Graphics Card to ensure 3 years of reliable performance.

NVIDIA 3D Vision Surround Technology Expands The Gaming Real Estate
With the power of multiple GF100 GPUs in an NVIDIA SLI configuration and NVIDIA 3D Vision Surround technology, the Calibre X480 Graphics Card expands the gaming real estate across three monitors in full stereoscopic 3D--making for a truly immersive gaming experience. The Calibre X480 Graphics Card is capable of rendering more than 746M pixels/second at full HD 1080p for a mind-blowing, 5760x1080 gaming experience. It also supports gaming across three non-3D displays with resolutions up to 2560x1600,it's the best in Class 2D Surround Gaming.

Higher PhysX Performance Brings Games To Life
With the next level of NVIDIA PhysX technology, the Calibre X480 Graphics Card brings games to life with dynamic, interactive environments. It delivers two times the PhysX technology performance over prior generation GPUs for dynamic game effects, such as turbulence, fluids and smoke. The New NVIDIA Giga Thread scheduler used in the Calibre X480 Graphics Card allows faster switching between graphics and physics processing, enabling more complex effects to be rendered in real time.

NVIDIA CUDA Technology With 480 cores CUDA C/C++ Support
CUDA technology unlocks the power of the GF00's processor cores to accelerate the most demanding system tasks such as video transcoding delivering up to 7x performance over traditional CPUs.

3nd Generation PureVideo HD
High-definition video decoder and post-processor delivers unprecedented picture clarity, smooth video and accurate color for movies and video.
