G.Skill lancia le DDR3 RipjawsX (2x4GB a 2300MHz @ 1.65V)

Con il comunicato stampa di seguito allegato, G.Skill International ha lanciato un nuovo kit di RAM DDR3 dedicato alla configurazione dei sistemi basati sul chipset P67 di Intel e sui processori "Sandy Bridge".

Il prodotto, denominato RipjawsX, include due DIMM di RAM DDR3 aventi ciascuna una capacità di 4GB: le performance dei moduli sono di primissimo piano, essendo in grado di lavorare a 2300MHz con la CAS latency a 9, in corrispondenza di una tensione di polarizzazione pari a 1.65V.

In accordo a Michael Chao, un senior manager di G.Skill, il kit 2300MHz RipjawsX 8GB "può vantare simultaneamente un'ampia capacità di memorizzazione e ottime performance in overclocking". Ne consegue che i sistemi target non possono non includere "le gaming machine e le workstation ad alte prestazioni".
