Corporation (Nasdaq: NVDA), the worldwide leader in programmable
graphics processor technologies, today announced that the Company is
the exclusive provider of all graphics cards offered on the first PCI
Express platform from Apple. The NVIDIA–powered Apple Power Mac G5
platform can drive an incredible amount of screen real estate,
providing four expansion slots that can support multiple graphics cards
to drive an array of up to eight displays.

executive vice president of worldwide sales at NVIDIA. “NVIDIA GPUs are
top-to-bottom in the new Power Mac G5 line-up because each offers top
performance and an advanced feature set, which are hallmarks of the
Power Mac platform.”
NVIDIA’s top-to-bottom offerings in the new Power Mac G5 include:
• The NVIDIA GeForce 6600 LE with 128MB of video memory as the standard offering in all Power Mac G5 systems.
• The NVIDIA GeForce 6660 with 256MB of video memory as a build-to-order option.
• The NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GT with 256MB of video memory as a build-to-order option.
• The NVIDIA Quadro FX 4500 with 512MB of video memory as a build-to-order option.
NVIDIA GeForce 6600 LE, NVIDIA GeForce 6660, and GeForce 7800 GT
GPUs each provide support for dual-displays or a 30-inch Apple Cinema
HD Display. The NVIDIA Quadro FX 4500 can drive up to two 30-inch Apple
Cinema HD Displays and includes other professional user features, such
as a port to connect 3D goggles for stereo-in-a-window applications.
The GeForce 6600 will also be offered on the Apple Store as a field-upgradeable option.
