MARKHAM, Ontario, Mar 07, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- ATI Technologies Inc. (TSX:ATY)(NASDAQ:ATYT), the world leader in mobile PC graphics processors, has once again raised the bar for notebook gaming with the launch of its Mobility Radeon X1800 series. Delivering the world's fastest gaming performance in today's most graphically intensive games-including Shader Model 3.0- the feature-rich Mobility Radeon X1800 XT takes the lead in the highly competitive notebook gaming segment and is closely followed by Mobility Radeon X1800.

Bringing the raw performance of the award-winning Radeon X1800 series to the "enthusiast-class" notebook, the Mobility Radeon X1800 series blazes through 3D games and multimedia applications like no other notebook graphics solution on the market. In addition, ATI's new Avivo technology for enhanced video playback enables a high-definition digital entertainment experience that breaks new ground through its superior delivery of stunning visuals and unmatched image quality.
