OCZ Technology annuncia la linea di drive SSD Vertex EX

Con il comunicato stampa di seguito allegato, OCZ Technology ha lanciato la linea di drive a stato solido o SSD OCZ Vertex EX. Si tratta di soluzioni da 2.5" finalizzate all'equipaggiamento non soltanto dei PC high-end nel segmento consumer ma anche dei server e delle workstation nel segmento enterprise.

Il produttore dichiara per tali drive una velocità di lettura pari a 260MB/s e una velocità di scrittura pari a 210MB/s; inoltre, il consumo di potenza è stato ridotto rispetto agli esemplari della precedente generazione.

Al momento la gamma OCZ Vertex EX include due varianti che si differenziono in base alla capacità di memorizzazione, pari rispettivamente a 60GB e 120GB. Il produttore non ha reso noto l'MSRP dei nuovi drive.
