Con il comunicato stampa di seguito allegato, Team Group ha annunciato una nuova edition delle sue memorie DDR3 Team Elite, caratterizzata dalla operatività delle DIMM a bassa tensione.
Le nuove DIMM DDR3, infatti, sono polarizzabili con una tensione di 1.35V, che è evidentemente inferiore (11.1%) al valore tipico di 1.5V, fissato dallo standard di JEDEC (Joint Electron Devices Engineering Council).
Nonostante la concezione orientata al risparmio energetico, le nuove DDR3 Team Elite possono vantare una frequenza operativa di 1333MHz con un profilo di timing pari a 9-9-9-24; il produttore rende inoltre noto che le nuove memorie sono disponibili in moduli da 1GB e 2GB, oppure in kit per il dual-channel da 2GB e 4GB.
Tutti sono caratterizzati da un PCB a 6-layer e da un cooler passivo realizzato in alluminio.
