TUL Corporation ha annunciato la video card PowerColor R7 250X, una soluzione concepita per offire agli utenti finali tutte le tecnologie tipiche delle Radeon della serie R7 ad un prezzo contenuto rispetto alle altre SKU della stessa gamma.
La gpu della PowerColor R7 250X è basata sull'architettura AMD GCN e integra 512 stream processor; il suo core grafico lavora a 1000MHz, mentre il frame buffer, implementato con 1GB di RAM G-DDR5 e collegato al processore grafico attraverso un bus a 128-bit, opera a 1125MHz (o 4.5Gbps).
Oltre al supporto delle librerie grafiche Microsoft DirectX 11.2, TUL cita anche la piena compatibilità, da parte della PowerColor R7 250X, con le tecnologie AMD PowerTune, AMD ZeroCore Power, AMD Crossfire (a due vie) e AMD Mantle.
Il kit di connettori di uscita della PowerColor R7 250X è composto da una porta D-Sub, una DVI-D dual-link e una HDMI.
