AMD annuncia le video card FirePro W7100, W5100, W4100 e W2100 |

AMD presenta, in occasione del SIGGRAPH 2014, le nuove soluzioni che completano la famiglia di prodotti AMD FirePro per la grafica professionale. Progettate per offrire performance eccezionali per tutte le tipologie di utenza, dalle workstation entry-level ai sistemi per gli utenti di livello ultra-power, si distinguono per un maggiore quantitativo di memoria, il supporto per i display 4K, un livello prestazionale più elevato, la certificazione per le applicazioni professionali e i driver rigidamente testati. Grazie alle nuove AMD FirePro W2100, AMD FirePro W4100, AMD FirePro W5100 e AMD FirePro W7100, che completano la linea di schede AMD FirePro basate su architettura Graphics Core Next, i professionisti dei settori CAD, video, animazione ed engineering hanno ora a disposizione il livello di dettaglio, la velocità e la reattività di cui hanno bisogno.
La linea di schede grafiche AMD FirePro per workstation è composta da:
- AMD FirePro W9100, la più avanzata soluzione realizzata da AMD per la grafica professionale, progettata per la nuova generazione di ambienti visuali caratterizzata da risoluzioni ultra elevate grazie ai suoi 16GB di memoria GDDR5 e il supporto fino a 6 display 4K;
- AMD FirePro W8100, con 8GB di memoria GDDR5 e una potenza complessiva fino a 4,2 TFLOPS;
- AMD FirePro W7100, pensata per l'utilizzo soprattutto nei settori multimedia ed engineering;
- AMD FirePro W5100, che permette una semplice gestione dei modelli e degli effetti visivi più complessi grazie ai suoi 4GB di memoria GDDR5 e alle 4 uscite video;
- AMD FirePro W4100, la soluzione ideale per chi ricerca un boost prestazionale per i flussi di lavoro quotidiani;
- AMD FirePro W2100, la scheda che rappresenta il punto di partenza ideale per l'utilizzo di applicazioni professionali ottimizzate e certificate.
Nel corso del SIGGRAPH 2014, AMD parteciperà ai seguenti appuntamenti organizzati presso il Vancouver Convention Centre:
- mostrando le nuove schede AMD FirePro, presso il suo stand (#1023) – dal 12 al 14 agosto;
- ospitando una dimostrazione di Solid Angle, intitolata "Exploring the Cutting Edge: An Arnold GPU Prototype", presso il proprio stand espositivo;
- illustrando i vantaggi derivanti dal supporto a Mantle da parte delle schede AMD FirePro, nel corso dell'intervento "Mantle and the Next-Gen Renderers For AMD FirePro With Graphics Core Next", tenuto da Richard Huddy presso l'Exhibitor Tech Talks – il 12 e il 13 agosto;
- partecipando all'evento "Monsters in the Orchestra: A Surround Computing VR Experience", presso lo stand ET440 nel padiglione Emerging Technologies (Hall A) – dal 10 al 14 agosto.
Le schede AMD FirePro W9100 e W8100 sono già disponibili per l'acquisto all'interno di numerose workstation, mentre le soluzioni AMD FirePro W2100, W4100 e W5100 lo saranno nel corso del prossimo mese di settembre, distribuite in tutto il mondo da SAPPHIRE Technology e dai principali produttori di workstation. Le schede AMD FirePro W7100 saranno invece disponibili nel corso dell'ultimo trimestre del 2014.

AMD FirePro W7100 graphics will be available in Q4 2014.
