Microsoft's offer of free upgrade to Windows 10 ended on July 29th but just some days earlier an interesting video arrived on YouTube. This one is able to show off an hardware configuration, equipped also with a 3dfx Voodoo5 5500 video card, while it runs Windows 10 and allows to surf the Web using latest Edge browser.
The asset posted by SummerFlower66 on July 23th looks to be genuine and it includes complete Windows boot as well as launch of system information utility AIDA64 Extreme. This tools confirms that Windows 10 is running on a 3dfx Voodoo5 5500 PCI card mounted in a PCI-Express slot using a well-known PCI to PCI-Express adapter.
Details on testing system are limited: besides 3dfx Voodoo5 5500 card and PCI-Express adapter, it includes a motherboard ASUS P5W DH Deluxe, one of best solutions for Intel Core 2 platforms with socket LGA-775 and based on Intel 975X as northbridge and Intel ICH7R as southbridge.
Many thanks to friend jix-reggio to notify this video on 3dfxzone english board. And also many thanks to whole 3dfx Community that's timeless as we all already know.
