Con il comunicato stampa di seguito allegato, AMD ha presentato al Computex 2008 la nuova gamma di gpu per sistemi mobile siglata ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3800. In accordo al produttore statunitense, si tratta di soluzioni in grado di cambiare notevolmente le prestazioni in ambito grafico dei notebook, forti del supporto esclusivo della tecnologia proprietaria ATI CrossFireX e della elevata efficienza dal punto di vista energetico (i chip sono prodotti con una metodologia che fa uso della tecnologia a 55nm, ndr).

AMD indica i processori della gamma Turion X2 Ultra e i chip-set 7-Series come il completamento ideale per le nuove gpu ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3800.



Computex, TAIPEI, Taiwan -- June 4, 2008 --AMD (NYSE: AMD) today announced the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3800, tripling top-of-the line graphics performance in comparison to the previous generation ATI Mobility Radeon GPUs1. Joining the previously announced ATI Mobility Radeon 3000 family, the new ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3800 series offers notebook manufacturers the ability to deliver fast graphics performance, energy-efficient 55nm graphics processor technology, amazing video playback, and, for the first time ever, ATI CrossFireX technology for a mobile graphics solution.
