MSI annuncia la motherboard A55M-P35 per le APU Llano (FM1)

MSI ha annunciato la motherboard denominata A55M-P35, una soluzione basata sul chipset A55 di AMD e finalizzata alla implementazione delle piattaforme compatibili con le APU Llano (socket FM1).

Nel comunicato stampa di seguito allegato, MSI pone l'accento sulle tecnologie proprietarie supportate dalla A55M-P35, come, ad esempio, la OC Genie-II, che permette l'overclock del sistema, con un boost delle prestazioni che può raggiungere anche il 110%, in accordo al produttore, con la semplice pressione di un pulsante presente nel Control Center, ma anche Click BIOS, che introduce la possibilità di variare le impostazioni del BIOS mediante il mouse, e l'i-Charger, che semplifica il caricamento dei dispositivi mobile come iPad e tablet PC. Inoltre, tutti i condensatori della A55M-P35 sono a stato solido (una ulteriore garanzia per la stabilità alle alte frequenze e la longevità in generale, ndr).

Per quanto concerne, invece, la componentistica supportata dalla scheda madre A55M-P35 di AMD citiamo le DIMM DDR3 a 1.5V e operanti a 1066MHz, 1333MHz, 1600MHz e 1866MHz (fino a un massimo di 16GB), mentre il numero di slot PCI Express Gen2 x16 presenti è pari a 1, analogamente a quello degli slot PCI. Sono invece 2 gli slot PCI-Express x1 e 6 le porte SATA 3Gb/s. Infine, il sottosistema audio a 8 canali è basato sul chip Realtek ALC887.
