DECEMBER 9, 2005 ─ NVIDIA Corporation announced today the availability for download of the PC game demo for one of the most unforgettable interactive adventures of the holiday season, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe from Buena Vista Games. Beginning today, PC gamers can download the official 187 MB demo, which includes two complete levels (“Frozen Lake” and “Rescue Edmond”) from the currently available game.

Throughout the development of The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, NVIDIA maintained a close technical and marketing collaboration with publisher Buena Vista Games and developer Traveller’s Tales to ready the game for play on PCs equipped with NVIDIA graphics processing units (GPUs), the recommended graphics hardware platform for the game. As a result, the game raises the bar in a category of PC games designed for mass-market audiences and marks an achievement in visual quality.

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe game takes the classic story from the renowned book from C.S. Lewis and the Walt Disney Pictures and Walden Media film to new heights by bringing the cinematic experience to life in a stunning interactive adventure. Playing as each of the four Pevensie heroes, gamers will battle the White Witch’s sinister minions in team-based, action-packed combat. Taking on a variety of creatures including Minoboars, Cyclopes, Werewolves and Ankleslicers, gamers must utilize each hero’s unique combat skills, weaponry and special moves to defeat hoards of enemies, solve elaborate puzzles and advance towards restoring Narnia.
